The Happy Accountant blog was started by Louise of Figurate Ltd, in 2007 and was one of the first blogs to share knowledge and information (both freely and for free) on the nuts and bolts and practicalities of actually doing accounting and tax.

The posts are generally about one or more of the following:

  • Accountancy, Bookkeeping and Tax for SMEs
  • Performance Management
  • Excel spreadsheets (in relation to how it can help with the above)
  • The odd Accounting software comment.
  • Accounting & Accountants in general
  • Whatever random ramblings that spring to mind that don’t fit with the above.

If something is unclear or you would like to ask the Happy Accountant a question about a specific post, please feel free to pop a comment against that specific article.

Please note that all comments are moderated, so it might take a while for them to become visible – and a little bit longer still for a reply (if one is necessary).
